Friendly, fun place with traditional Mexican food. Delicious Azteca burrito with lots of meat and nopales. They even have horchata and Jamaica!
Truly one of the best Mexican restaurants in Southeast Minnesota. One of the only criticisms I have it should be open 24 hours like the St Cloud location. Or at least the drive-thru open 24 hours. Besides that I'm still going to be returning for the fantastic and gigantic burritos
Finally a place that does it right. Burritos that pass the wrist test. ( If a burrito isn't bigger than your wrist it's not worth it) True salsa bar with the carrots and cabbage. Guac sauce is spicy as it should be. Don't make a mistake and order some American ground beef hard shell tacos. Order off the menu and enjoy true flavor. The Horchata is bangin too! My favorite is the Arizona Burrito. I have a rule about taco shops in the southwest, if there is berto in the name it's gonna be good. The rule holds true even in bfe Minnesota. My only qualm is it's not closer to the cities. Great work thank you.
Fudge yeah! Best burrito I've had in...can't recall. Steak and shrimp for the record. Visiting Red Wing for Big Turn music festival. Gilberto's was open late and damn did they deliver. Excellent burrito. Thin tortilla, well distributed ingredients, absolutely massive proportion. Spicy carrots and spicy cabbage at the salsa bar!!! Sorry for burying the lead folks . I will be back tomorrow.
Great breakfast burritos! They are huge! I also really enjoyed the guacamole, salsa and queso dips and love that it was all ready at breakfast. The chips were fresh too. The guacamole sauce has a lot of kick to it and the red hot sauce is hot! I will definitely be returning
Went in about 2 pm and beat the lunch rush. I would highly recommend the Specials part of the menu. Had the Supreme Burrito with shredded beef (picadillo), absolutely amazing.
The food was great and the employees had a great attitude and were very helpful when I had questions about the menu. I had a chimichanga and the tortilla was nicely fried. My husband even really liked the food and he has had a hard time finding true Mexican quality food.
What a great addition to red wing! Delicious authentic Mexican food! Haven't been disappointed yet with the food. There is a small patio in the back. They have a drive thru as well. The inside is pretty small but clean. They don't bring the food out to your table. The staff is very friendly and they have a small salsa bar. Get the green guacamole sauce, super delicious (kind of spicy if you like spicy) My new favorite Mexican spot in red wing!
